Examine techniques performed by this TREE HUGGING naturalist in an informal setting. Witness firsthand the visionary approach to sustainable forestry blended with furniture crafting. Our goal is to offer hands on demonstrations and an exceptionally gratifying tour of our woodworking environment.
CLASSES FOR 2005

we find it necessary to restructure all invitations.
Rather than schedule an inflexible event, YOU dictate WHEN school is in session. Check your calendars for a convenient time slot before contacting us. * Coordinating with you but without interrupting production of ongoing projects is a terribly important consideration. *Classes teach basically every how to and why not in our field. Learn free hand designing (without plans) from a professional. Whether a skilled advanced hobbyist or unskilled amateur wood crafter you will be able to take your experiences to a new level; toward fine art furniture making and design.
Discussions include methods for tool sharpening, mortised joinery, hand tool usage and maintenance, finishing technique, kiln operation, wood selection and harvest, etc.
Bring your questions and a camera to document results. If interested in the subjects of Niche Marketing, Web Design and SEO practices we can shed light on these areas too.
Fee for an entire 9 hour day is $300.
(yes, you can bring a friend @ no extra charge.)
1/2 or $150. is necessary to make a reservation.
Final payment of $150. is due with your arrival.

Intro Toward Learning Rustic Furniture Building and Design
Frequently Ray is asked to give a brief 1 hr. workshop.
Topics of focus are determined by your particular interest.
Private one to one sessions held most any day of the week.
(No charge for the first hour although stipends are gladly received.)
Drop by visitors are usually amazed to find us so welcoming. Folks on a scenic Sunday drive or simply traveling through Central Kansas looking for interesting things to do, popular attractions to see, and want to experience uncommon entertainment. You may find us knee deep in sawdust, or even worse yet, unavailable. We suggest making an appointment in advance.
